MS5002 Mechanical Drive Gas Turbine
The MS5002 is a two-shaft mechanical drive (MD) gas turbine fabricated for high efficiency and reliability. This machine is ideal for applications like gas boosting, LNG plants, and pipelines, offering a broad speed range to power centrifugal compressors and pumps. The turbine burns a wide variety of fuels and features a 16-stage (17 for MS5002D) axial-flow compressor, two-stage high-energy turbines, air-cooled first-stage blades made of Directional Solidified (DS) material. A DLN combustion system is available, and a centralized lube oil system ensures efficient operation.
