M701B Gas Turbine
The M701B gas turbine is an approximately 120 MW heavy duty machine, designed for the 50 Hz power generation market. The M701B is a scale design of the M501B gas turbine, with a turbine inlet temperature (TIT) of about 1050 degrees. Its main features are a cold end drive, a can-annular (18 cans) combustor and a simple single-shaft with two-bearing support.
