Siemens V94.2 remains one of the densest industrial gas turbine populations in Iran and the wider MENA region. Euroturbine’s aftermarket programme covers rotor blades, guide vanes, hot-gas casings, mixing chambers, flame tubes and bearings.

Castings use GTD111 or IN738-class superalloys with TBC or MCrAlY — a thermal barrier coating or the metallic bond layer. Where a row is obsolete, Euroturbine reverse-engineers from a sample rather than leaving the outage waiting on an OEM allocation. OEM means the original equipment manufacturer. Commercial renaming to SGT5-2000E did not change the hardware plants still order. Quote the OEM part number you hold, not only the marketing name on the nameplate. The outage does not fail as one slogan. It fails on three separate lines, written below.

Blades and vanes are one line; they do not cover the case

First- and second-stage rotor blades and guide-vane segments are the line everyone writes first. They are IN738 or GTD111 class, often with TBC. CMM — a coordinate measuring machine — and NDT — non-destructive testing — travel with every shipment. Many V94.2 outages mix HIP or weld on some stages with new-make on others, in one plan. HIP is hot isostatic pressing, used to close internal voids when remaining wall still allows it. That mix is allowed only when mass and coating family are signed.

Case. A combined-cycle V94.2. Stage-1 vanes and blades are on the RFQ. The plant treats that as the hot-gas-path buy. Opening week the inner casing heat shields and the mixing chamber are still on a later email. The row that was ready sits in crates while the barrel stays open. Euroturbine writes blades and vanes as line one. Lines two and three are not “included”. They are separate OEM numbers.

The inner casing and heat shields are a separate outage line

Inner-casing liners and heat shields protect the barrel. They are not a free extra on a blade order. Aftermarket segments exist so the plant does not wait on an OEM-only allocation for a row the original manufacturer no longer pushes. Geometry of the lands and the cooling features has to stack. A “close” shield that needs field dressing is not drop-in.

Case. Blades arrived on week minus-two. The inner-casing heat-shield OEM number was never on the request because someone filed it under “پوسته”. The OEM lead time on that row was longer than the remaining outage. Euroturbine quotes those segments from a sample or from the number you hold, as their own line, with CMM on the lands. The barrel does not close on a promise that shields “با بلید می‌آید”.

The mixing chamber and flame tube stop the outage the same way stage 1 does

Mixing-chamber hardware and the flame tube — the combustion liner on this frame — are as outage-critical as stage-1 vanes. Inspect tiles, cooling and cross-ignition paths before you only order blades. Cracked tiles and a blocked cross-fire path do not wait politely until the next planned opening. If combustion sits on a second RFQ, you have two critical paths and one date on the wall.

Case. Stage-1 vanes are in the shop for HIP. The mixing chamber was “later”. Opening week a flame-tube tile set is scrap and the cross-ignition path is worn. The HIP vanes are ready. The machine is not. Euroturbine puts mixing chamber, flame tube and heat shields on the same V94.2 request as the blades, each with its own OEM number. Quote the number even if the nameplate now says SGT5-2000E.

Quote the OEM part number you have, not only the marketing name on the nameplate.

Euroturbine has a long shop history on V94.2 and on V93 legacy rows. Every shipment carries CMM plus NDT. The commercial path is the same as a 9E buy: a filled request, then manufacture or repair. Send the OEM numbers even when the marketing name has changed.

Commercial names shifted; the hot gas path hardware plants still order is the V94.2 family. Quote the OEM part number you have, not only the marketing name.

Can Euroturbine reverse-engineer a discontinued V94.2 vane?

Yes, from a sample or drawing, with 3D scan, alloy check and a manufacturing pack. That is often faster than waiting on an OEM obsolete row.

Should combustion hardware be on the same RFQ as blades?

Usually yes. Flame tube, mixing chamber and heat shields are as outage-critical as stage-1 vanes. Ordering only blades is a common way to discover a second delay mid-outage.
