Outage support
In aviation, AOG means the aircraft is on the ground until a part arrives. Power plants borrowed the same letters for a gas turbine that cannot restart because a blade, vane or liner is missing. The word is useful only when the unit is already down, or the outage will slip in a few days. If the overhaul date has been on the wall for months and the parts list was never frozen, that is late purchasing — not an emergency. Euroturbine will still help. We will not pretend a first-stage hollow blade can be poured, coated and inspected in ten days.
Hot-gas-path parts — blades, nozzle segments, liners, transition pieces — are not warehouse nuts and bolts. Many are vacuum-cast, then the root is machined and a thermal coating is applied. That chain has a calendar. Below are the three jobs that can actually move in days, and the one job that cannot. Oil-and-gas SGT packages far from a central store feel the wait more. The metal still has to be poured.

Path 1 — A set already in the shop
This is the only path that can honestly be days, not weeks. The blades or vanes are already in repair, strip-and-recoat, or HIP — hot isostatic pressing, a furnace under pressure used to close internal porosity. Euroturbine finishes the inspections that were already on the ticket, packs, and ships. Case: a combined-cycle 9E opens and one first-stage vane is cracked. A sister set from another unit is already in recoating. If mass and coating family match, and engineering signs the mixed row, that vane can move. If nothing is in the shop for that OEM number, this path is closed. Saying “اولویت” does not open it.
Path 2 — A production lot already poured for another job
The foundry has a lot with the same OEM number, not yet allocated, or a cancelled order that still matches your drawing. Euroturbine checks serial, coating stack and remaining inspections, then allocates it to you. Case: an SGT-600 station is missing a power-turbine row. A lot poured for a similar package is sitting after HIP, waiting for coating. If the part number is the same, air freight is the road, not the pour. If the lot is a different stage or a different cooling pattern, this path is closed. We will not relabel a nearby number to make the truck leave tonight.
Path 3 — A mixed row, only if engineering signs
Some new blades and some repaired blades in the same rotating row. This is not a warehouse mix. Mass, moment and coating family have to sit together, and someone signs that they may. Case: twelve first-stage 9E buckets are new-make, four come back from tip restore. If the four are inside the mass band, the row can close and the unit can start. If the four are heavy or the coating is a different stack, the honest job is wait for a matched set — not ship tonight and hope. A mixed row without that signature is the next vibration trip.
What cannot move in days
A clean-sheet cooled first-stage blade: wax, vacuum pour, HIP if specified, machine the fir-tree, coat, CMM, airflow. That is a foundry calendar. Air freight does not shorten it. Euroturbine will name the slot we actually have. We will not write “۲۴ ساعته” on a serial that does not exist.
What to send the same day so a real date comes back
Write whether the machine is already stopped, or the date it will stop. List the OEM part numbers and how many are actually missing — not the whole wish-list. Say if a scrap sample is on site; a photo of the root and both sides of the airfoil is enough to start. Name the plant or station so freight can be priced. Euroturbine answers with a calendar: repair this week, coat next week, new-make in the foundry slot we can name. A slogan such as “۲۴ ساعته” without a serial is not a promise we will put on paper.
Dimensional inspection (CMM) and NDT stay on the critical path even when the crate is going by air. Fast is not the same as uninspected. If a vendor offers to skip measurement so the truck can leave tonight, you are buying the next forced outage.
Pay for priority on a slot that exists. Do not pay extra for a story that the foundry can skip the calendar.
How this sits next to planned outage buying
If the next hot-gas-path date has been on the wall for months, freeze the OEM list when that date is set and send it in ordinary time: numbers, quantity, new-make or repair, coating spec from the last shop visit. Emergency purchase is the exception: one missing row, a cracked set found on opening day, a station that cannot wait for the next window. Euroturbine treats those as priority on the three paths above. We still say no when the request is “build the whole first stage from a one-line description by Friday”. That is not AOG. That is a foundry job with an honest slot.

Frequently asked questions
Do you keep emergency stock of every blade?
Sometimes a current production lot matches the number you need. We never ask you to assume warehouse stock until we have checked the serial and said so in writing.
Does air freight solve a missing first-stage set?
It solves the road if the part exists. It does not create a casting. If we only have a repair path, we will say the shop days first and the flight second.
Can inspection be skipped because it is urgent?
No. A blade that does not fit the disc, or a cooled blade with blocked holes, fails in the next run. Urgency is not a reason to skip CMM or NDT.
